Meet Your Inspector

Wise on Home Inspections is owned and operated by Trish Wise (Licence #70005). Trish was a Realtor® for almost ten years before heading back to school to become an HIABC certified Home Inspector. Working in real estate, she spent countless hours with buyers on the hunt for their perfect home. From this, Trish knew that her attention to detail, knowledge of construction, and the importance of “buyer beware” meant that her expertise would serve home buyers best from the Home Inspection side of the business.

Her experience building and renovating her own homes gave her the understanding of a home’s components, and a solid foundation upon which to build her knowledge as a Home Inspector. Trish continues her industry-related education every chance she gets. And, as an HIABC Field Trainer, her work helping train the next generation of home inspectors gives her the opportunity to continually exchange ideas and knowledge on related news, trends, and updates to regulations. She is also an instructor for the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection training program. Trish is the winner of the 2021 Bill Hopen Award for outstanding efforts in furthering the development of the Home Inspection profession in British Columbia.
