Wise on Home Inspections is owned and operated by Trish Wise (Licence #70005). With over 10 years of experience and more than 3,000 inspections completed, Trish is one of the most trusted inspectors in the Okanagan, backed by 350+ five-star Google reviews.

A former Realtor® with nearly a decade of experience, Trish brings a unique understanding of the home-buying process, combining her real estate background with hands-on knowledge from building and renovating her own homes. Her inspections are thorough, clear, and client-focused, with same-day reports that explain not just the issues, but what they mean and what to do about them.

In addition to running Wise on Home Inspections, Trish is a Field Trainer, Mentor, and Final Examiner with HIABC, where she helps train and assess new inspectors. She has developed and taught courses for inspectors across B.C., including specialized training on Manufactured (Mobile) Homes, and is also an instructor for the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Training Program. She is a certified Pool Inspector and a C-NRPP Licensed Radon Measurement Professional, expanding the range of services she offers to her clients.

Her contributions to the profession have been recognized with the 2021 Bill Hopen Award for further development of the Home Inspection profession and the 2025 HIABC President’s Award for leadership and service.
